GELATISSIMO’S NEW AUSSIE CLASSICS WITH A TWIST RANGE
With Summer just around the corner, it’s time for us to cool you down and announce our newest gelato range in store – AUSSIE CLASSICS WITH A TWIST. In this limited-edition range, you’ll find 3 flavours created in a delicious collaboration with The Sweet Assassin, Adriano Zumbo. His infectious energy and creativity in his elaborate desserts is what helped bring these flavours to life! We’re excited to collaborate with one of Australia’s most celebrated pâtissiers and even more for to share these creations with you.
First, we have Chocolate Wagon with Davidson Plum. It’s a biscuit gelato with marshmallow pieces, rippled with a chocolate drizzle, and swirled with Davidson Plum jam. Inspired by a classic wheel-shaped biscuit, the twist comes from the Australian Native bushfood Davidson Plum from Australian Super Food Co, the native ingredient specialists! It’s tartness perfectly complements the gourmet handcrafted vanilla bean marshmallows from The Marshmallow Co. up in the NSW Central Coast.
Then we have Iced Man-GoGo, a mango and biscuit gelato drizzled with a mango swirl, topped with a shortbread biscuit crumble and sprinkled desiccated coconut. Inspired by another classic biscuit treat that rhymes with the name of this flavour, we’ve added a tropical twist with Australian sun-ripened mangos.
And to complete the trio, we have Salted Caramel Lamington. A caramel and lamington gelato topped with a salted caramel lamington swirl and sprinkled with desiccated coconut. We’ve added a Dulce de Leche caramel twist to this baked classic, which is used to flavour the gelato along with real lamingtons blitzed in! This flavour pairing of sweet and salty in the salted caramel is what helps to take this true blue classic to a whole other level.
